A new guide offers five specific methods for making friendship bracelets based on the animated series Bluey.
The show features a distinct visual style with rounded character shapes and a bright color palette. The primary tones include various shades of blue, light blue, orange, and yellow. These colors appear on the main characters and in the backgrounds. The aesthetic is simple and easy to recognize.
The first bracelet idea uses beads to represent the two main dogs. Bluey is created with blue, light blue, and white beads. Bingo uses orange, yellow, and cream beads. Small letters can be added to the design to spell out their names.
A second option involves macrame knots made with thin cords. Blue cords are used for Bluey, while orange cords represent Bingo. These bracelets are adjustable and require no clasp.
The third design uses polymer clay. Small figures of the characters are molded and baked. Once finished, the clay charms are threaded onto bead bracelets. This method allows for three-dimensional representations of the cartoon figures.
A fourth idea uses elastic rubber bands. Bands are woven together in combinations of blue, light blue, and yellow for Bluey. Orange and white bands are used for Bingo. A special clip is used to close the bracelet.
The final design features round beads and star-shaped charms in various sizes. The color mix includes pink, purple, green, and blue. This variation moves away from the character-specific colors and uses a broader, cheerful palette.
