Actor Ivonne Montero admits dating men younger than her

Ivonne Montero revealed on Tuesday that men who show interest in her are typically younger than she is. The actress shared this detail during an interview on La Granja VIP with host Adal Ramones. She described the pattern as a recurring theme in her personal life.
Montero selected three words from a wall to guide the conversation: distrust, heartbreak, and uncertainty. She used the concept of heartbreak to discuss her romantic history. She characterized herself as a woman who gives generously in relationships. "I give a lot, I am very loving, I am very generous," she told Ramones.
She linked the age difference to an imbalance in her past partnerships. The actor said this dynamic has prevented her from finding a compatible life partner. "It becomes repetitive and does not let me find that partner," she explained. However, she noted that the issue no longer concerns her as much as it once did. "At this stage of my life, it is no longer something that worries me either," she added.
Ramones asked if she previously worried about finding a companion, especially regarding motherhood. She confirmed that she did have those concerns in earlier years. She also connected the word distrust to her introverted personality. She stated that she has been quiet and self-reflective since childhood. This silence allows her to listen to herself, though she acknowledged it can have mixed results.
When asked if she has ever sabotaged relationships due to distrust, Montero said she believes she has done so on several occasions. She noted that others have told her she has a strong personality. They suggested this trait might make it harder for people to approach her.
The final topic was uncertainty, which shifted the discussion to her role as a provider. Montero said she stays active to handle gaps in her acting career. She is currently operating a spa and is interested in creating other businesses. She views working on new proposals as a way to manage uncertainty. Her goal is to remain busy while supporting her daughter in all areas of her life.
