Pentagon Readies 96-Hour Iran Strike Plans

American forces stationed in the Middle East are prepared to initiate major military operations against Iran within 96 hours of receiving presidential approval. This readiness follows the development of new strike plans by the U.S. military as President Donald Trump evaluates his next moves in the ongoing conflict.

According to CNN, the proposed options target Iranian military facilities, nuclear sites, and energy infrastructure. Officials are simultaneously assessing the risk of retaliation against American personnel and installations across the region. No announcement has been made regarding a final decision to launch additional attacks.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly urged for further military action. His office, however, disputes details of accounts concerning recent discussions with Washington. The timing of these preparations occurs ahead of the U.S. midterm elections scheduled for November 3.

Trump previously stated he would not authorize new strikes before Election Day. Regional security concerns have also triggered discussions about reducing the number of American diplomatic personnel in specific locations.

For now, military preparations remain distinct from any presidential order to proceed. The situation highlights the tension between operational readiness and political timing as Washington weighs its options.
