Ukraine’s General Staff recorded 191 combat clashes along the front line during the previous day. The data, released on Facebook on the morning of October 28, indicates that Russian forces applied the most pressure on the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Huliaipole sectors.

The Pokrovsk front experienced the highest volume of activity with 32 documented attacks. Russian troops attempted to advance near Sofiivka, Vilne, Vodianske, Vasylivka, Molodetske, and Udachne. They also pushed toward Toretske, Kucheriv Yar, Dobropillia, Hannivka, Novohryshyne, Hulive, and Serhiivka. On the Huliaipole front, Russian forces conducted 17 attacks, aiming to move toward Ternuvate, Dolynka, Hirke, Charivne, and Yehorivka. The Kostiantynivka front saw 15 attacks, with offensive operations near the city and toward Raiske and Pavlivka.

In the north, Russian forces launched 37 strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements in the North Slobozhanshchyna front and the Kursk Oblast operational zone. Three of these strikes utilized multiple-launch rocket systems. On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, Ukrainian units repelled five Russian attacks directed at Okhrimivka and Mala Vovcha. On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces made three attempts to improve their positions, moving toward the village of Radkivka.

Ukrainian forces repelled Russian attempts to breach defenses on the Lyman front, where troops conducted six assaults toward Nove, Stavky, and Lyman. The Sloviansk front recorded two attacks, one near Yampil and another toward Orikhuvatka. On the Kramatorsk front, Russian troops carried out three attacks toward Malynivka, Vasiutynske, and Chervone.

Certain sectors remained quiet. The General Staff stated that Russian forces did not conduct assaults on the Oleksandrivka, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovske fronts. It also reported no evidence of offensive Russian groups forming in the Volyn and Polissia front areas.
